Die Briefmarke
Heustrasse Nr 9, Esslingen an Neckar
1894 to 1898
From June 1894 to June 1898, inclusive, a
total of
49 monthly issues of the "Die Briefmarke" magazine were issued and
posted using printed to private order newspaper wrappers. The following
is based
on my observations of the copies I have in my possesion or copies I
have seen. All wrappers are postmarked Esslingen Bahnhof. The easiest
way of identifying an item is by first reading the postmark date and
then
checking what items are possible with that date.
Three different typestyles were used in the first line of the header
