Undercover Mail to Israel 1983 Some time about 2003 I bought a lot
of covers, at an auction, which were described as covers which had been
used to send mail from Arab countries to Israel via a
London address. The address used on all of these covers was Head Post
Office, King Edward Street, London EC1. Most of the covers, apart from
four, have no indication as to the nature of these covers. I have never
seen any mention of this service in the philatelic press or anywhere
else. Apart from the countries mentioned below I also have covers from
Kuwait and Qatar ![]() This cover from the United Arab Emirates postmarked Abu Dhabi is endorsed "ISRAEL - GAZA strip" ![]() This cover from Saudi Arabia postmarked Ta'if is endorsed "please transfare the internal letter" ![]() This cover from Saudi Arabia postmarked Ta'if is endorsed "thanks to GAZA" I would be pleased to hear from anyone who may have any more information about how this service operated Jan Kosniowski - email - jpkos @ aol.com MORE INFORMATION
