About the Circle

A substantial and thriving specialist society, founded in 1946. We are made up of wide range of people mainly in the UK, but also overseas, with a common interest in the Netherlands and former colonies, overseas territories and Indonesia. The Circle maintains a friendly atmosphere, enabling those pursuing particular interests to readily access the wide ranging and expert advice of fellow members.

Meetings & Events

The chief gathering of members is at the Annual Congress weekend, generally held in April each year at varying venues. Regional meetings are held several times a year, usually in conjunction with a major stamp fair. Occasional visits are made to the Netherlands and the Circle liaises with similar societies there and elsewhere overseas.

Publications & Library

The Netherlands Philatelist is the Circle's highly regarded journal, published three times a year and sent to all members. Members also receive an informative Newsletter three times a year and have available a well stocked and actively managed Library.

Adding to your collection

The Circle runs regular postal auctions offering stamps, postal history and literature at reasonable prices and also maintains a postal packet. Relevant publications such as catalogues can often be provided at a discount.

New members are always made most welcome. For further information about the Circle's activities and about joining please contact:
