From 1910 till the end of December 1932 South Africa stamps and postal stationery were available for use in Swaziland.
South Africa newspaper wrappers were first made available in 1913. The Union
of South Africa came into being on 31 May 1910 through the unification of
four colonies - Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Transvaal and Orange Free State.
Existing postal stationery of all the former colonies became valid for use
in any part of the Union.
To my knowledge this is the only known example of a South Africa newspaper wrapper
used in Swaziland, as illustrated here. I would certainly be most interested
to hear from anyone who may have or may know of any other copy or copies of similar items.
This wrapper is postmarked Mbabane on 19 November 1932. This wrapper was in current use from early 1931 till late 1933.
